THE DETROIT CULTURAL CENTER

WHERE CULTURE CONNECTS US ALL

The Detroit Cultural Center is where art, science, history, and design converge in the heart of Midtown. Within nine walkable blocks, twelve landmark institutions create one of the most vibrant concentrations of cultural destinations in the nation.

As the centerpiece of Detroit’s UNESCO City of Design designation, the Cultural Center showcases the city’s creativity, diversity, and innovation through world-class museums, libraries, universities, galleries, and performance spaces.

Easily accessible by car, QLine, bus, or bike–and with many institutions offering free or reduced admission–it’s one of the most welcoming and enriching destinations in the Midwest.
